Portugal: A destination for your fintech
LISBON, November 7 (Portugal IN) – Portugal IN presented today the country as a fintech destination on the Web Summit’19, at the Startup Portugal stand.
The pitch introduced the Portuguese ecosystem and promoted the country as an attractive location for tech-based innovation in financial services [document available here].
It was followed by the launch of the second edition of Portugal FinLab by representatives of the financial sector regulators – Banco de Portugal, the Securities Market Commission (CMVM) and the Insurance and Pension Funds Supervisory Authority (ASF) [press release available here].
Closing the session, Portugal Fintech Association presented the Portugal Fintech Report 2019. This report gives an overview of the industry’s progress and main trends, map the top 30 Portuguese Fintechs and reflect on the industry’s best practices, experiences and collaborations representing the various stakeholders’ perspectives [report available here].
