Mercedes-Benz.io goes digital in Portugal

LISBON, July 11 – At the beginning of May 2017, Mercedes-Benz opened the world’s first Digital Hub in the Portuguese capital – the Mercedes-Benz.io Portugal was established.
Lisbon is currently becoming the “place to be” in the digital world. The Portuguese capital is a very popular place for “digital natives” to live and work and the scenario is perfect for the new Mercedes-Benz.io.
Mercedes-Benz.io mission is to develop the next generation of Daimler digital sales & marketing platforms for passenger cars.
Currently, the Mercedes-Benz.io employs more than 60 people, will finish the year with 90 employees and have more than 125 employees in 2019.
Mercedes-Benz.io is looking for talented people from the digital world, with focus on the digital future, experts in the areas of software development, app programming, Big Data, Cloud computing, Java, Java Script, Sap Hybris and AEM development.
With this plan to grow in the upcoming years comes new facilities at the Beato Creative Hub which are planned for 2019.
